Peyton - A Higher Place Lyrics.

Keep the Faith is the fifth studio album by American rock band Bon Jovi, released on November 3, 1992, by Mercury Records. It is the last studio album to feature original bass guitarist Alec John Such, before he was dismissed from the band in 1994. It is Bon Jovi's first album since 1985's 7800° Fahrenheit not to be produced by Bruce Fairbairn. It was also their first album to have a title track.

In 2003 Peyton signed his first single to the Hed Kandi label, A Higher Place. Legendary House music producer Eric Kupper (Degrees of Motion) did first official mix which shot to no. 2 in the UK Upfront Club Top 40 and stayed there comfortably for a while. Higher Place went on to top Dance Charts around the world and has become a staple of DJdom. It was also no. 11 in the UK Upfront Club Top 100 songs of 2004. In 2005 the album was finished, and Hed Kandi released new Peyton vinyl with the tunes Celebrate, Keep the Faith, Find My Way and Higher Place. The release went to no. 2 in the UK Upfront Club Top 40. Also that year, the ATFC and Mauve remixes of Higher Place, as well as the Kaskade and Kupper mixes of I'll Rise were released on vinyl, and went straight back to no. 2. Peyton was also the only male nominated for Outstanding Vocalist of the Year at London's 2005 House Music Awards.

A Higher Place, I'll Rise. A Little Sensitivity. Be The Sun. Beautiful (Director's Cut Classic Mix). Celebrate, Keep The Faith, Higher Place, Find My Way. Feeling Nina. Give Thanks (Soul Avengerz Mixes).

However considering that Blind Faith; the album this song was released under, had another song with religious undertones, it could be about religion and the quest for self -rediscovery. Either way the song clearly operates on the theme of being lost, and needing to return to one’s own roots. Can’t Find My Way Home" Track Info. Written By Steve Winwood. Release Date August 1, 1969. Sampled In. Best Friend by Left Boy. Amor Sin Rodeos by Gustavo Cerati. Find My Way Back Home by Neal Morse.

Come down off your throne and leave your body alone, somebody must change You are the reason I've been waiting so long, somebody holds the key Well, I'm near the end and I just ain't got the time And I'm wasted and I can't find my way home. Glad his heart finally found the "key" and God's "higher love". Kim from Montgomery, TxI hear him telling God he can't find his way home (heaven) Come down off your throne (Jesus) Leave your body alone (crucifixion) Somebody (singer) must change (his behavior and belief in God) God is the answer and holds the key and singer has waited so long (too long) to abide by Now he's trying to get there. Marcia from Traverse City, MiCan't Find My Way Home also done really well by Ellen McIlwaine (youtube) and Tracy Nelson.

Peyton Place is a small town in New England, whose leading adult citizens rule the town with their high moral standards, which they try to pass on to their offspring. The adults, especially those that wield power largely through their positions and/or through their wealth, will not tolerate anything they believe morally improper, even if there is a hint of impropriety without comprehensive evidence to back up the hints. The book "Peyton Place" came out in the early 1950s. It blew off the lid of a small New England town full of rape, murder, sex, abortion, infidelity, suicide etc etc. Even though the town (and residents) were fictitious, this book created an uproar. Now, almost 50 years later, it's considered a great literary novel and taught in colleges!
