Lawrence "Kris" Parker (born August 20, 1965), better known by his stage names KRS-One, and Teacha, is an American rapper and occasional producer from The Bronx, New York. KRS-One rose to prominence as part of the hip hop music group Boogie Down Productions, which he formed with DJ Scott La Rock in the mid-1980s. KRS-One is best known for his top hits, "Sound of da Police", "Love's gonna get'cha (material love)" and "My Philosophy"

KRS One, Aztech, Judge The Disciple.

This is the discography of hip hop musician KRS-One. Collaboration albums. Battle for Rap Supremacy (KRS-One vs. MC Shan) (1996). A Retrospective (2000). Best of Raptures Delight (2003). Playlist: The Very Best of KRS-One (2010). Strickly for da Breakdancers & Emceez (2001). The Mix Tape, Prophets Vs. Profits (2002).

KRS-One is a monument to longevity within the Hip Hop game, and he is living proof that as long as artists stay true to themselves, they can make amazing music for decades rather than years. Unwavering authenticity gives KRS-One credibility and maximum respect of real Hip Hop heads, whatever critics say and haters may throw at him. His legacy is untouchable and there can be no debate about the most influential or the best-ever emcee without including KRS-One in that conversation – and putting him at the top spot when all talking is done

KRS-One is politically active, having started the Stop the Violence Movement, after the death of Scott La Rock. This is the discography of hip hop musician KRS-One. Life (KRS-One album). Life is the eighth album released by KRS-One. The album is a collaboration with Tunnel Rats affiliates The Resistance and Footsoldiers. Now Hear This may refer to: Now Hear This (film), a 1963 cartoon film. Now Hear This (The Hi-Lo's album), a 1957 album by The Hi-Lo's. Now Hear This (Duke Pearson album), a 1968 album by jazz pianist Duke Pearson

By this time KRS-One was mentoring a younger generation of urban storytellers, some of whom appear here in the string of interludes (Method Man, Jeru the Damaja) and some of whom guest on the songs themselves (Fat Joe, Channel Live, Das Efx, Busta Rhymes). This album is very relaxed-almost as though KRS-One had simply to dip his mighty ladle into the creative juices of the culture he'd helped create and spoon the contents into this album

At the 2008 BET Awards, KRS-One was the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award for all his work and effort towards the Stop the Violence Movement as well as the overall pioneering of hip-hop music and culture. His wife is G. Simone. Aliasse: Big Joe Krash, Blastmaster (2), Lawrence Krisna Parker, The Teacha. Varianten: Alle werden angezeigt KRS-One.
