Is Survived By is the third studio album by American post-hardcore band Touché Amoré. The album was released on September 24, 2013 through Deathwish. The full track listing and artwork was revealed on July 17, 2013. The album's first single, "Just Exist", was released on July 30, 2013. and a music video for the song Harbor was released on September 25 the same year.

Touche Amore is a Los Angeles, CA based punk band whose earnest and artful approach to song writing, along with relentless touring, fueled their rise to prominence in the hardcore community. In 2013, Touche Amore crossed into new territory with their beloved release "Is Survived B. Now from a band both living its dream and marred by loss comes "Stage Four. Jun 20. Bottom Lounge. Chicago, IL. Jun 21. Mahall's Locker Room.

Is Survived By is about 50% longer than any other Touché Amoré album and the quintet wisely instruct the listener how to pace themselves. The near a cappella Praise/Love and near post-rock instrumental Non Fiction would be remarkable for introducing variety alone; in the scheme of Is Survived By, they’re plot devices, introducing lyrical and musical motifs repeated immediately thereafter in Anyone/Anything and Steps".

West Coast screamo outfit Touché Amoré's third record is easily the most ambitious in their discography so far, featuring some incredibly dynamic and melodic punk guitars and lyrics that dive into the depths of mortality, legacy, and the band itself.

Similarly Touche Amore isn't mall punk or hardcore revival, this album as well as the previous, parting the sea between brightness and me, reveal a blend of elements of emo, hardcore, post punk, and other genres found in alternative music. Just because you liked one blend and not the other, doesn't make it unoriginal. I would say however that you do make one point; this is an album for genre enthusiasts rather than genre explorers.
