Liquid Lunch" is a song by Caro Emerald. The song was released as a Digital download on 21 May 2013 as the second single from the album The Shocking Miss Emerald (2013). The song has peaked to number 70 on the UK single chart, largely due to featuring in BBC Radio 2's Playlist 'A' List. The song was written by David Schreurs, Vincent DeGiorgio, Jan Van Wieringen, Robin Veldman, Wieger Hoogendorp.

Liquid Liquid is an American no wave and dance-punk group, originally active from 1980 to 1983. They are best known for their track "Cavern," which was covered by the Sugar Hill Records house band as the backing track for Melle Mel's old school rap classic "White Lines (Don't Do It. The group released a series of extended plays, including the acclaimed 1983 12" EP Optimo. In 2008, the band reformed, playing in various venues around the globe.

Of everything they put out, this is their most slippery stuff. This is the haze of dub without any overt reference to reggae. The big beat becomes itself on their third EP, Optimo, recorded at Radio City Music Hall Studios. Of the four immaculate songs, one secured Liquid Liquid a permanent place in the pop songbook.

Whilst still actively gigging, Liquid Lunch has been busy writing and recording their self produced EP Sketches 2 Seed". Influenced by artists such as Caro Emerald, Imelda May, Nikka Costa, Melissa Etheridge, Joss Stone and Janis Joplin. Liquid Lunch is taking elements from all these artists and adding their own spin to create their sound.
