I Am the Walrus Lyrics. I am he as you are he as you are me and we are all together See how they run like pigs from a gun, see how they fly I'm crying. Sitting on a cornflake, waiting for the van to come Corporation tee-shirt, stupid bloody Tuesday Man, you've been a naughty boy, you let your face grow long. I am the egg man, they are the egg men I am the walrus, goo goo g'joob

I Am the Walrus" is a song by the Beatles released in November 1967. It was featured in the Beatles' television film Magical Mystery Tour in December of that year, as a track on the associated British double EP of the same name and its American counterpart LP, and was the B-side to the number 1 hit single "Hello, Goodbye"

This fact angered Lennon as " felt that it was better. It is widely regarded as The Beatles' most "outragous and psychedelic" song ever. I am he as you are he as you are me and we are all together. See how they run like pigs from a gun, see how they fly. I'm crying.

I Am The Walrus (Live) was released as a B-side to Cigarettes & Alcohol. In 1998 it was included on the B-side compilation album The Masterplan. This song was a steady part of Oasis' live performance in their early days before their debut album was released. When Oasis played small venues and pubs, they were usually required to play for at least 30 minutes. However, at this point in time, they did not have enough material to play 30 minutes. So they decided to do a cover of this song (with an prolonged jam in the end) at the end of their sets to be able to hit the 30 minute mark,.

I Am The Walrus was included on the soundtrack of the Magical Mystery Tour TV film, and first released as the b-side of Hello Goodbye. Lennon had wanted I Am the Walrus to be The Beatles' next single after All You Need Is Love, but Paul McCartney and George Martin felt that Hello Goodbye was the more commercial song. The decision led to resentment from Lennon, who complained after the group's split that "I got sick and tired of being Paul's backup band". The song was written in August 1967, at the peak of the Summer of Love and shortly after the release of Sgt Pepper.

Lennon claimed he wrote the first two lines on separate acid trips. The song was in the Beatles' 1967 television film and album Magical Mystery Tour, and was the B-side to the hit "Hello, Goodbye".
