Album Dez de dezembro. Half of what I say is meaningless But I say it just to reach you Julia Julia, ocean child, calls me So I sing a song of love, Julia Seashell eyes, windy smile, calls me So I sing a song of love, Julia Her hair of floating sky is shimmering, glimmering In the sun Julia, Julia, morning moon, touch me So I sing.
Cássia Eller was recorded in the personal studio of Guto Graça Mello, without the knowledge of PolyGram. This happened because the two previous Cássia albuns (Cássia Eller and O Marginal) failed to reach commercial success, and Cássia was decided to resign of the label. The album received a big influence from Marisa Monte's album Verde, anil, amarelo, cor de rosa e carvão, that Cássia heard as nursed her son, Chicão. In accord of the singer herself, Cássia Eller was her first job with a preproduction work. Initially, the claim was that the new disc had only rewrites, but some unpublished.
Acústico MTV is the singer Cássia Eller's final album before her death on December 29, 2001. The album consists of seventeen songs from various authors, such as Nando Reis, Renato Russo, Cazuza, John Lennon and Paul McCartney, among others. For the recording of the album, the entire team met for three weeks at the São José farm. Acústico MTV is the Brazilian version of the MTV Unplugged albums. Many albums by Brazilian artists have been released under the name "Acústico MTV", including: Acústico MTV (Cássia Eller album). Acústico MTV (Legião Urbana album).
