Joy to the World" is a popular Christmas carol with words by Isaac Watts. As of the late 20th century, "Joy to the World" was the most-published Christmas hymn in North America. The words of the hymn are by English writer Isaac Watts, based on Psalm 98, 96:11–12 and Genesis 3:17–18.

Contemporary English Version God loved the people of this world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who has faith in him will have eternal life and never really die. Good News Translation For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not die but have eternal life. Holman Christian Standard Bible "For God loved the world in this way: He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. Aramaic Bible in Plain English For God loved the world in this way: so much that he would give up his Son, The Only One, so that everyone who trusts in him shall not be lost, but he shall have eternal life. GOD'S WORD® Translation God loved the world this way: He gave his only Son so that everyone who believes in him will not die but will have eternal life.

1 God so loved, loved this world That he gave his Son Whoever would put their trust Put their trust in him Would live forever, would live forever Chorus O, I was dead but now I live O, all my sin has been forgiven O, now with all my heart and soul I say Thank you for my salvation day Verse 2 I. s. riter(s): Jonny Macintosh, Sarah Macintosh, Vicky Beeching. Long before he made the world, God the Father prepared to send his one and only Son to earth. He loved him before the foundation of the world (John 17:24), and yet even then he knew how much the baby born in Bethlehem would suffer. We know the Father knew because our names were written before the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who was slain (Revelation 13:8). Before God planted the first pine tree, the Christmas story had already been planned. Before he lit the sun with fire, he had already begun digging the ground where the cross would one day stand.

O how I adore my Lord, For He has given life to me. For God so loved the world That He gave His only begotten Son, That everyone who believes into Him Would not perish, But would have eternal life. Can you tell me where I can purchase the song "For God So Loved the World?" It is a beautiful song. San Juan, Puerto Rico. So refreshing to my whole being! I wonder if there is a version in Spanish.

If world means each and every person who ever lived or will live then everyone will be saved because of the objective nature of propitiation. No sin would be left unpaid for - including the sin of unbelief. No one who takes seriously the Bible’s teachings on hell and judgment would ever affirm universalism, which means that John uses world here to mean something other than each and every person who will ever live (as he often does; see John 14:19; 16:8; 18:20; 1 John 2:15,)
