The first album in the series, Electronic Realizations for Rock Orchestra, was released as an LP in 1975. 1975: Electronic Realizations for Rock Orchestra No 66 Billboard 200 (18 weeks). 1976: Sequencer No 144 Billboard 200 (11 weeks). 1978: Cords No 146 Billboard 200 (6 weeks).

Label: Synergy Electronic Music. Considering this album was recorded and mixed, for the most part, in Larry's basement, the quality set the standard for me for electronic music as a stand alone genre.

The sound on "Electronic Realizations for Rock Orchestra" is really dated, in comparison to many other seventies electronic albums (., ., J-., etc). I was quite disapointed, since I'm a big fan of old school synth. The lack of depth makes it's character a bit light-weight. This album by Larry Fast's SYNERGY was released at time when people were so curious about further development and exploration of electronic music, based on keyboard.

When the album "Electronic Realizations for Rock Orchestra" was originally released in mid-1975, an avalanche of mail landed at the Passport Records company offices. Many of the letters asked similar questions about the LP. The mimeographed answer sheets that were mailed out in response provide a terrific time capsule from 1975.

The shimmering electronic textures of the first SYNERGY album in 1975 led to an invitation for Larry to come to Europe and work with the distinguished British-German band Nektar, then enjoying top 20 success in the US.

He did a bunch of records in the ’70s under the name the Synergy. This album, ‘Electronic Realizations for Rock Orchestra,’ is the first in a series.
