Piano Man is the second studio album by American recording artist Billy Joel, released on November 9, 1973 by Columbia Records. The album emerged from legal difficulties with Joel's former label Family Productions, and ultimately became his first breakthrough album. The title track, a fictionalized retelling of Joel's experiences with people he met as a lounge singer in Los Angeles, peaked at No. 25 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and No. 4 on the Adult Contemporary singles chart

The teenaged Mendelssohn produced in the Piano Sonata in E minor, Op. 6, a work that showed a deep engagement with Beethoven's late style, and de Boer is especially good at finding the lyrical threads among the rather diffuse structures of the opening movement and slow movement. Equally interesting are two smaller variation sets that occupy a safe spot between Beethoven and Weber but have a delightful ease on the keyboard that plays to de Boer's strengths.

The Piano Concerto No. 1 in E minor, Op. 11, is a piano concerto written by Frédéric Chopin in 1830, when he was twenty years old. It was first performed on 11 October of that year, in Warsaw, with the composer as soloist, during one of his farewell concerts before leaving Poland

As we’re all well aware by now, Jeff Goldblum is a film icon, a fashion icon, and, yes, a pretty fine jazz piano player as well. He’s also pretty much the most charming man in showbusiness, with an off-kilter, almost ess manner of speaking (see: the Dazed spring/summer 2019 interview) that blows minds and melts hearts. Classic Glasto moment, right here! pi. witter. dazednconfused (nconfused) June 30, 2019. Jeff also took the time, during his set, to announce a new jazz album, the South Wales Argus reports. This will be his second; the first was a number one jazz album in the US and the UK. Getting to do another album with the sweet, sweet, enchanted elves and sprites from Decca has me floating on air, he reportedly said (you read it in his silky voice, didn’t you?). Somebody please pinch me (ow, not so hard).
